Thank you so much for this message. I too believe we must live fully into our humanity in order to be more like Christ. The light came for the entire world & our humanity along with the divine spark in our soul are meant to carry that light & healing to all creation.

Thank you for sharing such a meaningful reflection, my friend, and truly becoming human in Christ is the beautiful work of grace in us because the Word became flesh and dwelt among us John 1:14 and showed us that God enters our ordinary lives with love and purpose and Jesus stepped into our humanity so He could redeem it, carrying our sorrows, feeling our pain, walking among us as the true light of the world John 8:12 and this reminds us that from the beginning God breathed into man the breath of life Genesis 2:7 and in Christ we see what it really means to live as people shaped by God’s heart and His compassion and as we follow Him we are called to grow in grace 2 Peter 3:18 and to be transformed by the renewing of our minds Romans 12:2 not escaping the world but shining His love in it and when we walk in His Spirit we begin to reflect His kindness, humility, and truth because He became like us so we could become like Him and may we continue to embody His love in every place we go, touching lives with His compassion and living as those who carry the light of Christ into a world that desperately needs Him.

Absolutely. Thanks for reading and I'm so glad you found it meaningful. Sometimes it's easy to focus so much on Jesus' divinity that we make excuses for not becoming like him, because the bar is too high, but as you say, this transformation is indeed a work of grace.

Blessings to you and your famuly.

This is a beautiful piece.

Lately, I’ve been feeling that the Bible is not something to be merely read or consumed as text, but something to be lived.

At the same time, I think we are also called to first understand those who are genuinely trying to live as Christians.

Just as Jesus embraced fragile and struggling humanity, we too need to remember that humans are weak by nature and often need something to lean on.

Perhaps being present for others—becoming a “tree” for a while when they need support—and then, when they are ready to stand again, walking together in a more fully human life, is itself a beautiful expression of faith.

Thank you for sharing this reflection.

Thanks Seungyeon, glad you enjoyed it. I love your image of becoming a tree to support others. It speaks to the power of contemplative stillness that helps us slow down long enough to see the need and truly be with those who are hurting.

Exactly. For me everything that matters about Christianity is experiencial more than doctrinal. Jesus came to show us how to live, not just what to believe. Thanks for such a thoughtful response.
