A Quiet Launch
Real Life Resurrection: A Story of Letting Go and Living into New Life
This morning, my new book quietly went live.
After a long season of writing, reworking, and letting it take shape in its own time, Real Life Resurrection is now available on Amazon.
I wasn’t planning to make a big announcement yet. I’ve ordered author copies, and we’ll have a more formal launch gathering at the church on April 18. It is their story as much as my own, so I wanted to offer it to them in the context of celebration and community. (If you’re part of the Shiloh / Grace UMC community, I’ll have free signed copies available for you at our celebration.)
But I wanted you to know first.
All of my Substack reflections are available for free. There is no paid tier, no inner circle, but that makes me all the more grateful that you’re here at all. That you’re willing to receive my ramblings and reflections in your inbox every week, and sometimes even read them and engage.😊
So this is a small way of saying thank you.
The 191 of you on my current subscriber list are the first to receive this link and the opportunity to step into this resurrection story ahead of the wider audience, just in time for Easter.
About the Book
Real Life Resurrection is structured through two intertwined stories:
First, the resurrection encounters in the gospels, imagined from the inside - Mary in the garden, Thomas in his doubt, Peter by the fire, etc.
Second, the story of two struggling churches learning how to let go, come together, and discover new life on the other side of what they thought was ending.
Somewhere in the middle is my own story of learning to let go and live into resurrection life.
If you’re curious, or if this feels like a season where resurrection is more than just an idea, you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GVF1LX7Z/
No pressure at all. Just an open invitation.
More to come as we get closer to Easter and the April 18 gathering. For now, I’m just glad to have this story out in the world and I hope and pray it will help you notice the seeds of resurrection already stirring beneath the surface of your own life.
Blessings to you, my Substack family, and thank you again for your continued support.
Note: My regular reflection this Thursday will be a sample chapter from the book, the story of Judas, and what happens when we give up on hope too soon. Hope to see you then.

Ordered!
Congrats, Craig.
